Arab American Legal Services (AALS) is a program of the Arab Resource and Organizing Center (AROC). AALS offers immigration services free of charge to qualifying low and moderate income San Francisco residents. We provide clients with free preparation and representation services for:

- Consultation with a lawyer on any immigration related matter
- Preparation of family-based visa petitions (I-130)
- Preparation of adjustment status applications (I-485)
- Preparation of naturalization applications (N-400)
- FOIA requests
- Preparation of Asylum Applications (I-589)
- Immigration court presentation
- Deportation defense
AROC sees AALS as a necessary vehicle to support our community’s needs and enable them to gain the necessary tools and resources to be more civically engaged. AALS is the only culturally and linguistically relevant immigration service for Arabs in the Bay Area and we serve over 250 clients each year.
AALS holds free walk-in consultation clinics every Tuesday from 11am – 3pm.
Community members are welcome to drop in for a free-of-charge consultation with the attorney on any immigration or civil rights matter. Please call (415) 861-7444 for more information.
