(Photo from SafeSF.org) The Coalition for a Safe San Francisco has been working with Supervisor Jane Kim on a local Ordinance addressing the relationship between the SF Police Department and the FBI, through the Joint Terrorism Task Force.  The Ordinance will be introduced soon!  Please check back for updates.

The ordinance ensures that local city laws will be enforced, and public safety and civil rights are protected in SFPD participation in the Joint Terrorism Task Force.  Additionally, the Ordinance will increase transparency, local control, and civilian oversight over San Francisco’s relationship to the FBI.
