    Singing for Self Expression & Turkish Singing

    SINGING FOR SELF EXPRESSI

    ON

    Learn basic singing techniques to help improve your singing. With this class, students will learn proper posture, correct breathing technique and breath support, develop proper vocal technique and skills in group singing class while having fun at the same time. Students will also learn body awareness in a supportive environment. Beginner level. No previous experience or training is necessary.

    Saturdays for adults, 4-5 pm
    Saturdays for kids, 5-6 pm

    TURKISH SINGING

    We are going to learn Turkish songs by ear, with correct pronunciation and translation of the songs. Beginner level. NO previous experience or training is necessary.

    DABKE!

    Dabke or dabkeh is the most popular Arab folk dance in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria.  A line dance, it is widely performed at weddings and joyous occasions. The leader of the dabke heads the line, alternating between facing the audience and the other dancers. No background or previous traning is needed for these classes.

    Saturdays for kids, 4-5 pm
    Saturdays for adults 5-6 pm
    Sundays for adults 5:30-6:30 pm
