On Saturday March 3, join hosts AROC & ACCC for the next amazing event in the Zeit & Zataar: arts and social justice series. Focused on creating dialogue around Arab identities, gender and sexism, this opportunity to connect and grow as a community will have a theater and comedy emphasis. An interactive writing workshop facilitated by Jennifer Jajeh and Basel Naffouri will also include improvisation and should not me missed!

Jennifer Jajeh is a  Palestinian American writer, performer and independent filmmaker. She traveled the country from 2008-2011 performing her hit one woman show “I Heart Hamas: And Other Things I’m Afraid To Tell You” in over 12 cities garnering critical reviews and audience raves. Jajeh has also produced and directed award winning independent film and video projects. Her work has been profiled on the KRON 4 News, WBAI NYC, Watani Saudi TV, in the Washington Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, and NOX Magazine Jordan. Named one of Fen Magazine’s 2011 Artists to Watch, she is currently at work developing several new writing projects.
